A few years ago me and my mother was invited to a wedding. My Greek orthodox mom loves my friend (lets call him Juan) but she still thought it was too much for her to attend to his wedding with (lets call him)
The wedding took place in a palace. We were all standing in this beautiful room when the couple came in.
The priest (by the way a woman priest) held a beautiful ceremony and pronounced Juan and

I have never been to a wedding with so much love in the air. Everybody was happy and proud that these two people found each other and got married. Not married to have kids, just married because they love each other and want to spend their life together, to grow old together to show the world that they have found their soul mate.
I really would like to see Juan and Douglas as parents. They have so much love to give and if they don’t adopt a baby I wish they could adopt me…
But today they are happy godparents to a little girl whose mother was their priest that married them.
So whatever everybody says, marriage is between two people that love each other, no matter colour, sex or religion.
